Anna Kozaki was born and raised in Mie prefecture in Japan. She fell in love with cakes and pastries as a 5 year old little girl and has been baking since childhood. Also a well traveled young lady, Anna has been to many countries in Europe and Asia, and has lived and studied in Canada and China. This, in her own words, helps her in understanding the different ways that people view the same situation, or the same cake. At the age of 21, Anna graduated from the prestigious Tsuji Institute of Patisserie in Osaka and started working as a pastry chef in Japan. Since then, Anna has shared her goodies with family, friends, neighbors and colleagues in each of the various places she has called home. Now, fate brings her to delightful Macau where she co-founded Hoshizora Japanese Cake Shop, which officially opened on 7th July 2008. This is possibly the ONLY real Japanese cake shop in Macau, with a real Japanese chef mending the ovens.
Words from Chef Anna: “Every special day deserves to become more special with Hoshizora’s cakes. Our cakes will brighten up your birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Valentine’s day… in fact, any and every other day! Other than the cakes on the menu, I can create unique cakes and gifts for your family, friends and loved ones. Hoshizora's cakes and cookies are filled with my heart and love. When you are happy with our cakes, I am happy too!”
