A native of Singapore, Thomas fell in love with cakes and cookies simply because Anna did. A film and theatre director and actor by profession, Thomas has acted and directed for theatre, film and TV in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, China and the UK. In 2008, Thomas left behind a bidding acting career in Beijing (where he worked as an actor for 4 years) to set up Hoshizora Japanese Cake Shop in Macau. At the same time, he also founded film company ‘Island Man Pictures’, whose Macau office is situated right above Hoshizora Cake Shop.
